Video - Session 10: How far do we have to accommodate people at work

Description

This educational video allows supervisors & managers to have an interactive discussion with their employees to prevent simple problems turning into big and costly disasters. Everyone learns about the most common forms of workplace human rights issues in a short space of time and at a very reasonable price.

The courts have been telling employers for years that they need to accommodate certain people, based on human rights grounds, such as religion.  There has been a lot of confusion and a certain amount of resentment from employees, about the need to do so. In this video everyone gets the straight goods on the need for accommodations and prepares employees when one is needed. It also is clear on those times accommodations aren’t needed. Discussing this issue with your employees may save you from dealing with a much bigger problem down the road.  This clip is 6 minutes and 47 seconds in length.  Add a few more minutes for discussion and you can have a valuable tool to avoid workplace human rights disasters.
